FIELD: railway machinery.
SUBSTANCE: heat treatment of metal products, in particular a gas equipment for heating a continuous welded rail bar to a temperature necessary to relieve thermal stresses, in particular, to a device for heating a continuous welded rail bar. The device consists of a frame, a system of burners connected to a distribution pipeline through outlet pipes, at the end of which a gas source is provided, and equipped with a suspension on which the system of burners is mounted, while the suspension is fixed on the frame by means of fingers inserted into the holes made in the frame and brackets suspension, the burner system contains two pairs of outlet nozzles with control flaps. At the same time, the burners are connected to the suspension through the grooves made in the flanges, and are made with the possibility of adjusting the distance to the rail web and the angle of inclination relative to the rail base, the outlet pipes connecting the burner system with the distribution pipeline are made flexible, and the gas source is placed in a bed mounted on the frame. The suspension contains two deflectors, each of which is placed above one of the pairs of outlet nozzles and is a semi-cylindrical surface made with the possibility of covering the rail head and the outlet nozzles of the burner from one end, while the end on the side opposite to the specified end is made with a cutout for the rail head, and the device is configured to install a continuous welded rail bar with the direction of the combustible mixture outflow from one pair of outlet nozzles to the sides of the rail.
EFFECT: uniform heat treatment of the rails to ensure the same material properties both in the area of the welded joint and on both sides of it at a given distance, adjustable by changing the distance between the outlet nozzles of the burners and the angle of inclination, which also allows to operate with rails and rail fasteners of various types.
