FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: method to shake a rail loop consists in applying strikes against the rolling surface of a rail by means of an impact tool. The frequency of striking makes at least 300 strikes per minute. The impact tool is additionally equipped with a measurement device tracking variations of the stressed condition of a rail thread during striking.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of rail thread shaking.
