FIELD: rocket technology.
SUBSTANCE: unit for mixing the components of mixed solid propellant contains upper and lower mixing apparatus with screws, a device for regulating the flow of the fuel mass, located between them, having external and internal cylindrical housings. The outer housing is equipped with a compressed air outlet with a throttle and a compressed air supply with a pulsator. An elastic membrane is fixed on the inner housing and a transverse partition is placed inside it, on both sides of which through holes are made. Means for supplying compressed air into the gap between the outer housing and the membrane is made in the form of one or two lines passing through the pulsator. The transverse partition is made integral with the flow dividers in the form of a body of revolution of an equilateral hyperbola, one of which is directed with its apex towards the upper mixing apparatus, and the other towards the cavity of the lower mixing apparatus.
EFFECT: reduced viscosity of the processed fuel mass and improved mechanical characteristics of the fuel.
