FIELD: pharmaceuticals.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for obtaining a new binuclear carboxylate complex composition [Cu2(N-Benzoyl-DL-Phe)4](L)2, where L=H2O, represented by the general structural formula (1). The proposed method includes the interaction of N-benzoyl-DL-phenylalanine deprotonated with a solution of sodium hydroxide in a water-ethanol solution with a solution of CuCl2 in a molar ratio of 2:1 at a temperature of 20-40°C with stirring on a magnetic stirrer for 120 hours, after which a blue precipitate of the complex (1) forms.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain a new binuclear carboxylate complex, which can be used as a catalyst for chemical reactions, as well as a sorbent for separating isomers of various compositions.
