FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing dimers NAC2 and GSSG, of the general formula R-S-S-R, where
by oxidation of biologically active NAC thiol or GSH thiol with dimethyl sulphoxide in aqueous solution in molar ratio of NAC thiol or GSH thiol to dimethyl sulphoxide equal to 2:1, at temperature 50-60 °C for 3 hours.
EFFECT: novel method of producing dimers of NAC2 and GSSG with output of up to 99%.
