FIELD: microwave; plasma technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention and can be used for regeneration of metal catalysts applied to a substrate using a microwave discharge. A method for regenerating metal catalysts on a substrate using a microwave discharge includes exposing metal catalysts on a substrate to pulsed microwave radiation at a frequency of 75 GHz with a power of 300 kW and a pulse duration of 6 ms, the microwave discharge is initiated at a temperature of 20°C in an atmosphere containing gases having oxidizing and/or reducing properties with respect to the substrate and/or inert gases at a pressure of 1 atm, the metal content in the catalyst being from 0.001 to 50% by weight of the total catalyst mass.
EFFECT: method of regeneration of metal catalysts is provided.
