FIELD: producing submicron and nanosized particles.
SUBSTANCE: claimed method is for obtaining colloidally stable submicron and nanosized boron particles with a size of less than 200 nm, including grinding boron powder in a planetary mill in a liquid medium, diluting the resulting suspension and pulsed laser fragmentation of the resulting solution, in which, after said fragmentation, the resulting solution is centrifuged for at least twice, after which the resulting solution is subjected to ultrasonic vibrations for 1-15 minutes.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain submicron and nanosized boron particles with an average size of less than 200 nm, which have high colloidal stability.
