FIELD: nanotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing nanomaterials by pulsed laser ablation in a liquid. Disclosed is a method of producing spherical colloidal nanosized particles of gold by pulsed laser ablation, comprising irradiating the surface of a gold target immersed in a liquid with laser pulses, where irradiation with laser pulses is carried out with wavelength ranging from 750 to 1,100 nm, pulse energy from 5 to 150 mcJ, pulse repetition frequency from 100 Hz to 100 MHz, pulse duration from 10 fs to 10 ps, exposure duration of at least 1 min, wherein the liquid used is deionised water or deionised water with a molar concentration of sodium chloride of less than 10 mmol/l until a colloidal solution is obtained, after which the solution is centrifuged with acceleration from 10,000 to 20,000 g for not more than 1.5 minutes, after which not more than 90% of the supernatant is taken.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain spherical colloidal nanosized particles of gold with high synthesis efficiency, having high colloidal stability and a monomodal character of dimensional distribution in range from 2 to 150 nm.
