SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to methods of maxillofacial and plastic surgery, particularly to a method of genioplasty or mentoplasty. Disclosed is a genioplasty method involving the following steps: obtaining a three-dimensional face model using a scanner, changing the chin of the three-dimensional model in the presence of the customer to the desired shape, obtaining a three-dimensional skull model from a computer tomogram and aligning it with a desired three-dimensional client face model, performing a genioplasty virtual operation with movement of bone fragments to a desired position, virtual planning of the lower jaw cutting pattern, virtual planning of a template for drilling holes for fastening a fixing plate, making all templates, making a fixing plate from an elastic biologically compatible material by additive techniques, drilling of lower jaw by means of template for drilling, removal of template for drilling, fixing template for sawing on lower jaw, sawing along pattern for sawing on lower jaw and processing of chin fragments, removal of template for lower mandible sawing, fixation of fixation plate on jaw by means of screws, attachment of chin fragments to fixation plate by means of screws.

EFFECT: invention provides prevention of displacement of jaw fragments during the operation and in the period of healing due to the springing properties of the fixation plate and production of the fixation plate from the elastic biologically compatible material by means of additive technologies.
