FIELD: mining industry.
SUBSTANCE: methods for the mining of cohesionless minerals from the bottom of the continental shelf. The plant for the mining of minerals from the bottom of the water area contains a floating facility with a cold unit installed on it, for supplying a coolant, a pressure pipeline. The plant is additionally equipped with a lifting device connected to the pressure pipeline. The lifting device is equipped with drilling hollow rods interconnected with hydraulic cylinders and a processor capable of controlling the motors of the drilled hollow rods and adjusting the height of the rods using hydraulic cylinders and an oil pump. The rods are made with the possibility of rotation and are provided with perforations and screws in the lower part.
EFFECT: increasing the efficiency of mining from the bottom of the water area by providing the possibility of leveling the device for lifting to a horizontal position when developing horizontal, flat and inclined deposits with a uniform distribution of the cooling agent over the entire depth of the bottom hole space.
