FIELD: glass fibre production.
SUBSTANCE: present invention is related to a method for producing sized glass fibres intended for special-purpose structural products in additive technologies, based on sizing glass fibres by applying a sizing composition in form of a solution, followed by drying, in an oven under vacuum at 77-78°C, characterized in that the sizing composition is applied to glass fibre as a solution with a concentration of 0.52 wt.% obtained by dissolving 4,4'-diaminodiphenylpropane (DAFP) and oligomeric ethersulfone, based on 4,4'-dioxiphthalophenone and 4,4'-dichlorodiphenylsulfone (OES) with degree of polycondensation n=19÷23, in an organic chloroform solvent and a stepwise increase in temperature is carried out with simultaneous distillation of the solvent and exposure to ultrasound with an operating power of 35 kHz in the following way: 20°C - 20 min; 30°C - 20 min; 40°C - 15 min; 60°C - 15 min; 70°C - 25 min; 75°C - 15 min, and the quantitative ratio of the components corresponds to the following wt.%: glass fibre 95.5; ECO 1.0-3.5; DAFP 3.5-1.0. A polyetherimide composite used in the manufacturing of structural products in additive technologies, containing a polymer matrix based on polyesterimide and finished glass fibre, obtained by the method indicated above is also described, and the quantitative ratio of the components in the composition corresponds to the following wt.%: polyesterimide 80; finished glass fibre 20.
EFFECT: improving the modulus and bending strength of the created polymer glass fibre composite due to the introduction of a sizing composition, which increases the wettability of the filler and increases intermolecular interactions between the glass fibre and the polyesterimide matrix.
