FIELD: processing of materials.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the processing of materials by cutting and can be used in the processing of surfaces with milling tools. The rotating milling tool (20) contains a chuck (22) and a milling head (24) detachably attached to it. The milling head (24) contains a plurality of peripherally located cutting edges spaced along the angle, forming a working cutting edge. The milling head (24) contains a through recess of the head, open towards its front and rear surfaces and containing a centring area and a driven area located axially ahead of the centring area and not identical to it. The driven area contains at least one driven surface facing against the direction (R) of rotation. The centring region comprises at least one radially inward facing radial centring surface located axially behind and radially outward from at least one said driven surface.
EFFECT: provides transmission of torque from the chuck to the milling head.
