FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to the cutting of materials and can be used for milling corners in workpieces. Double-sided milling grade comprises an upper, lower and peripheral side surface. First and second milling edges are made on transitions from the upper and lower surfaces to the peripheral side surface. Relative to the axis of symmetry, the milling grade has a fourfold rotational symmetry and a reference plane perpendicular to the axis of symmetry. First and second milling edges comprise four sections, each of which comprises a leading edge and a scraping edge that are connected, located at a maximum distance from the reference plane in the region of the milling angles. On each peripheral side surface, the main rear surfaces and the scraping rear surfaces adjacent to the respective main edge and the scraping edge are formed. External angles formed between the main back surfaces and the reference plane are made of large outer corners formed between the swept back surfaces and the reference plane.
EFFECT: quality processing of the corner surfaces of the billet is ensured.
