FIELD: earth-moving machines.
SUBSTANCE: machines for cutting gaps and laying cables in the bottom soil of reservoirs. Cutting machine for laying a submarine cable contains a trailer pontoon with a sealed body and a drive located inside in the form of an engine and a gearbox, on the output shafts of which the leading sprockets of the cutting working bodies, cable guides, a mechanism for closing the gap with soil and a traction winch are fixed. The cutting machine is equipped with guide cable wheels, hydraulic cylinders for lowering working bodies, hydraulic accumulators, adjustable reducing hydraulic valves, angle scrapers, adjustable hydraulic motor, control hydraulic cylinders and limit switches. The control element of the adjustable hydraulic motor for driving the traction winch drum is pivotally connected to the rod of the first control hydraulic cylinder, in the piston cavity of which an elastic element with a mechanism for adjusting the elastic force is installed, and the rod cavity is connected by a hydraulic line with the rod cavity of the second control hydraulic cylinder, on the rod of which the guide block of the pontoon drive traction rope is fixed. The cable guide wheels are installed with the possibility of free rotation, and the mechanisms for closing the gaps with soil are made in the form of angled scrapers pivotally attached to the frames of the working bodies. The frames of the working bodies are pivotally connected by means of levers to the rods of the lowering hydraulic cylinders, the piston cavities of which are connected with the hydraulic accumulators connected to the outlets of the adjustable reducing hydraulic valves, and the limit switches for moving the frames of the working bodies are connected by control lines to the switches of the engines of the drive of the working bodies and the pontoon displacement drive.
