FIELD: computing technology.
SUBSTANCE: device for identifying the optimal placement in cluster multiprocessor systems during directed information transfer contains a matrix of m rows and n columns of elements of a homogeneous environment, n unit counting blocks, a maximum finding block, the first adder, a memory block, an optimality calculation block, a matrix of i.j (i =1, 2, …,m; j =1, 2,…, n) adders, second row counter, third and fourth column counters, matrix of i.j (i =1, 2, …,m; j =1, 2,…, n) registers, the third and fourth decoders of horizontally fixed arcs, the fifth and sixth decoders of vertically fixed arcs, a matrix of i.j ( i =1, 2, …,m; j =1, 2,…, n) OR elements, the first and second matrices from i.j ( i =1, 2, …,m; j =1, 2,…, n) of AND elements, the fifth row, the first multi-input adder block, the sixth cluster number counter, the seventh cluster number decoder, the second multi-input adder block, the fourth SR-trigger for combining the cluster number, the sixth element AND for the cluster number, the second element OR for the cluster number, the seventh element AND.
EFFECT: expanding the scope of the device by introducing tools for analyzing the degree of optimal placement in multiprocessor systems with shared memory according to the criterion of minimizing the intensity of interaction between processes and data.
