FIELD: medicine; surgical dentistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates is intended for use in suturing in the oral cavity with laxative angular incisions or vertical laxative incisions of soft tissues in the distal parts of the lower jaw. Suturing in the oral cavity includes the following sequence of operations performed using a surgical needle with a surgical suture thread: the first injection of the surgical needle is performed perpendicular to the surface of the soft tissues of the lower jaw with the second point of puncture on the opposite side of the horizontal incision of the alveolar ridge. Then the surgical needle is displaced and the third puncture of the surgical needle is performed, with the fourth puncture point, where the fourth puncture point is located distal to the first puncture point, characterized in that the third puncture of the surgical needle is carried out from the opposite side of the laxative incision, and after the fourth puncture the surgical needle is displaced and performed the fifth puncture of the surgical needle in the area of the first puncture point with the sixth puncture point in the area of the second puncture point, then both ends of the suture thread are pulled towards each other, forming a figure in the form of a quadrangle. Next, the adaptation of the wound edges is checked and, as a final operation, a surgical knot is created. As a suture material, any types and types of surgical threads intended for reconstructive periodontology are used.
EFFECT: due to the imposition of a single suture with a clear comparison of the edges of the wound and reliable fixation without excessive tissue stress at the suture site and adjacent areas, the method allows to reduce trauma and increase the effectiveness of treatment in surgical dentistry.
