FIELD: medicine; surgical dentistry.
SUBSTANCE: sequence of operations is performed using a surgical needle with a surgical suture thread: the first puncture of the surgical needle is carried out perpendicular to the surface of the soft tissues of the upper jaw with the second puncture point on the opposite side of the wound. Then a third injection of a surgical needle is made with a fourth puncture point on the opposite side of the wound. Each injection and puncture is performed at an equal distance from the edge of the wound. The surgical suture thread is led continuously from the first puncture point in the palatal flap along the first suture round to the second puncture point in the vestibular flap. The surgical needle is then moved to the third injection point at the distal edge of the wound. The third puncture point is located on the opposite side of the wound from the second puncture point, diagonally to the first puncture point. Then, through the second suture round, the surgical needle is brought out to the fourth puncture point located in the area of the second puncture point. Then the surgical suture thread is led in the palatal direction to the point of the first injection and pulled through the loop of the first suture round. The surgical suture threads form a figure in the shape of an angle. The two ends of the surgical suture are then pulled towards each other. Next, the adaptation of the wound edges is checked. As a final operation, a surgical knot is formed.
EFFECT: safe and clinically effective suturing of relaxing angular incisions of soft tissue in the distal parts of the upper jaw, ensuring low trauma, and increasing the effectiveness of treatment.
