SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of determining superoxide dismutase. The method of determining superoxide dismutase includes assessing the ability to inhibit the rate of the adrenaline hydrochloride autoxidation reaction in an alkaline medium with pH 10.65 estimated spectrophotometrically at a wavelength of 347 nm for 3 min by the optical density of the adrenaline autoxidation product formed in the presence and absence of superoxide dismutase. To register the optical density of the adrenaline autoxidation product, a polymethacrylate matrix with 0.1% adrenaline hydrochloride immobilized in it is used.

EFFECT: increasing the reliability of the determination of superoxide dismutase.
