FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to cardiology, and can be used for prediction of improvement of left ventricular diastolic function after sympathetic denervation of renal arteries. Before the intervention, patient undergoes 24-hour blood pressure monitoring and the daily systolic blood pressure index is assessed using a mathematical algorithm for determining the period of night sleep based on heart rate monitoring data. If the daily systolic blood pressure index is 5.5% and less, the improvement of diastolic function of the left ventricle is predicted 6 months after the procedure.
EFFECT: method enables optimizing the selection of patients with resistant arterial hypertension combined with type 2 diabetes for the procedure of renal denervation by assessing the aggregate of the most significant parameters.
