SUBSTANCE: method for reducing the phase noise of a voltage-controlled oscillator made in the form of a Colpitz oscillator which includes a notch filter with a central attenuation frequency of 300 kHz in the resonant circuit. The notch filter consists of inductor 15, resistor 14 and capacitor 13 connected in series, so that a part of the noise signals associated with shot noise having a finite spectrum is shunted to a common output.

EFFECT: provision of possibility of creating voltage-controlled generators with a built-in resonator in an integral design with a phase noise level reduced by 3-6 dB.
