FIELD: sandblasting systems.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a method for capturing a plurality of particles into a flow of a transport fluid for direction to a target, and to a sandblasting system. The method includes the steps of: capturing at a first location a first plurality of carbon dioxide particles from a first source into a transport fluid stream, thereby creating a first transport stream containing a first plurality of particles transported in the transport fluid stream, wherein the transport fluid stream has the first static pressure; directing the transferred flow through the first channel to the second location and dosing the particles of the second set of particles from the second source through the metering hole then through the second channel; capturing particles of the second plurality of particles in the transported stream at a second location, thereby creating a transportable stream containing particles of the first and second plurality of particles carried by the transport fluid flow, and changing the flow rate of the second plurality of particles when capturing the second plurality of particles. The system comprises a source of transport fluid, a first source of blasting agent, wherein the blasting agent contains a plurality of particles of the first type, the first type being carbon dioxide; a first metering element, a second source of sandblasting agent, a first channel in fluid communication with a first location and a second location through which flows a flow of a transport fluid that has particles of the first type trapped therein, and a second metering element containing a second channel in in fluid communication with the first fluid channel and the dispensing orifice.

EFFECT: creation of a method for capturing a plurality of particles into a flow of a transport fluid to direct them to a target, and creation of a sandblasting system.
