SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in medical, veterinary and other biological research to assess the bioavailability of drugs, simulate the processes of their dissolution and absorption, as well as to study the features of pig digestion processes. Biorelevant medium of fasted porcine duodenum containing lecithin, potassium dihydrogen phosphate, potassium chloride, sodium hydroxide and demineralized water, characterized by its additionally containing cattle bile in the following ratio of components per 1 liter of demineralized water: 75 μmol of lecithin; 3.9 g of potassium dihydrogen phosphate; 7.7 g of potassium chloride; sodium hydroxide to provide a pH of 6.5; 3 g of cattle bile; 1 l of demineralized water.

EFFECT: biorelevant porcine duodenal medium described above imitates fasted porcine intestinal juice in vitro with high fidelity.
