FIELD: level control.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the control of the level of electrically conductive media, mainly liquid metal coolants and can be used in reactor units of nuclear power plants. In protective case 1 with step h, n inductive converters of transformer type 2 are placed (IC1, IC2…, ICn). One inductive converter is installed above the measurement range outside the controlled environment. Parallel connected excitation windings 3 of all inductive converters 2 are connected to the output of alternating voltage source 4. The level gauge comprises keys 6, with the help of which, according to the control signals from the discrete outputs of microcontroller 7, a sequence of differential transformer converters is formed by connecting inductive converters installed within the measurement zone to an inductive transducer installed above the measuring range, or pairwise connection of inductive transducers with a shift of one inductive converter.
EFFECT: increased accuracy and reliability of level measurement by eliminating the dependence of the level measurement result on the capacitive component of the output signal.
