FIELD: antennas.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the phased array antenna element module. Essence: the antenna element may include a feeder, a radiating element and a dielectric substrate having a first surface and a second surface, and the dielectric substrate contains the antenna element feeder inside the dielectric substrate. The antenna element module may also include an integrated circuit (IC) chip attached to the first surface of the dielectric substrate and connected to the antenna element feed. The IC chip may include circuitry for adjusting the signal applied by the feeder. The antenna element module may further include a plastic antenna holder attached to the second surface of the dielectric substrate. The plastic antenna holder may include a housing portion containing a cavity for the radiating element of the antenna element, the radiating element being located in the cavity of the housing portion of the plastic antenna holder.
EFFECT: improved characteristics of a phased antenna array and simplification of manufacturing elements of a phased antenna array.
