FIELD: parameters measuring.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended to measure the parameters of the groove on the spherical surface of the part. The part is installed on the measuring device, while aligning the center of the outer spherical surface with the comparison plane. The first and second racks with the main measuring heads are installed on the base. The tips of these heads are located at the same offset from the comparison plane and with the possibility of touching the side surface of the measured groove at two points. Two racks with additional measuring heads are installed on the base, placing their measuring probes at the same height from the base and with the possibility of touching the bottom of the measured groove at the points at its ends. The angular position of the part is verified by rotating it around each of the three coordinate axes, while achieving the alignment of the readings of the additional heads and the alignment of the readings of the main measuring heads. The first aligned information parameter is fixed according to the readings of one of the main heads. The part is reinstalled with a rotation of 180°. The alignment of the angular position of the part is repeated to find the second aligned information parameter, which is then fixed. The desired deviation of the groove width is determined by the sum of the first and second aligned information parameters, and the deviation from its symmetry is determined by their half-difference.
EFFECT: expanding the technological capabilities of the method by measuring two parameters of the groove on the outer spherical surface of the part.
