SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for automated notification of track workers about the approach of railway rolling stock and fencing of the work site. The method is based on the use of a collective portable signalling device at the work site, which determines its location using the GLONASS navigation network and receives information via radio or wireless communication about the location of the rolling stock from a numerical coded auto-lock with a decentralized placement of equipment, in particular with the location of equipment on the haul at each signal point; an access system organized over a fibre-optic communication line is used.
