FIELD: railway infrastructure maintenance.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of notification of those working in a railway tunnel. The method consists in the fact that at the work site in the tunnel and when moving to the work site, a collective portable alarm system (CPAS) with an autonomous power source is used, location sensors placed along the tunnel in the zone of each rail chain, each of which is made with the possibility of periodic transmission of identification data of the rail chain in the zone in which it is installed, and radio stations connected to access points, the coverage area of which covers the tunnel territory. Each access point is connected to the ABTC-M inter-station communication line, and the CPAS is designed with the ability to interact via radio channels with location sensors and radio stations. According to the location sensors, the CPAS determines the rail chain in the zone of which it is located in the tunnel, and according to ABTC-M data, rail chains occupied by rolling stock in the tunnel and approaches to the tunnel, compares the information received in real time and, when approaching a given distance of the rolling stock to its location, generates and reproduces warning signals in the form of appropriate audio and optical signals. If there is an obstacle to the movement of rolling stock at the place of work, the CPAS, at the command of the work supervisor, generates an appropriate message and transmits it by a radio channel via a radio station and an access point via an inter-station communication line to the hardware and software half-set of the ABTC-M installed at the departure station, upon receipt of which the hardware and software half-set of the ABTC-M at the station automatically forms a command to stop the rolling stock before it approaches the work site and transmits it to the locomotive of the rolling stock via the ALSS, and also generates a confirmation signal for receiving a signal about the presence of an obstacle, which it transmits via an inter-station communication line and an access point to a radio station connected to it, which transmits it to the CPAS via a radio channel. In the absence of a confirmation signal, the CPAS reproduces the alarm signal.
EFFECT: reliability of the notification of track workers in the railway tunnel is increased.
