SUBSTANCE: genetic construct for the expression of recombinant deominases based on APOBE1 and a method of its production are proposed. The pNtGGS1_TALE genetic construct is shown in FIG. 1 and provides for the expression of recombinant deominases based on APOBC1 for targeted modification of cytosine bases of mitochondrial DNA.

EFFECT: inventions can be used to edit point pathogenic mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) mutations associated with various hereditary mitochondrial pathologies.
