FIELD: foundry production.
SUBSTANCE: casting equipment (1) for casting the melt into a cast product (80) contains a supply tank (10) for supplying the melt, a distribution tank (20), a casting device (25) connected to the tank (20), a supply pipe (30) connecting tanks (10) and (20), electromagnetic pump, level sensor (40) and controller. The pump is installed on the supply pipe (30) to inject the melt into it. The sensor (40) measures the level (h3, h1) of the melt in the tank (20) and/or tank (10). The controller regulates the operation of the pump based on the signal from the sensor (40) to maintain the metal level in the tank (20) at a predetermined level to control the pressure of the melt at the inlet of the casting device (25). Tank (10), pipe (30) and tank (20) form a supply siphon, pipe (30) defining a melt flow path having a point (a1) that is higher than the melt surface in tank (10) and/or reservoir (20). Reservoirs (10) and (20) are connected through a bypass valve (11), made in the form of a valve or jumper.
EFFECT: precisely controlled melt flow and level control.
