FIELD: food industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fruit-based foods with the addition of algae components. The proposed food product includes an algae processing product and a fruit-based wet substance in the form of fruit puree and/or fruit juice and/or vegetable puree and/or vegetable juice and/or berry puree and/or berry juice. As a product of algae processing, algae extract is used in the amount of 2.0-30%, the rest is a wet substance based on fruits.
EFFECT: expanding the range of food products – sources of iodine based on natural plant components, namely seaweed, taking into account the organoleptic value for the consumer.
