FIELD: water production.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of water enriched with oxygen or hydrogen isotopes and can be used in the manufacture of water-based compositions to maintain water balance in the body, such as drinks or topical dermatological compositions, as well as in the production of process water intended for cooling or preparing solutions. The source water, including various isotopes of oxygen or hydrogen, is filtered to remove contaminants such as salts, organic compounds, gas, particles. As a source of initial water, for example, an extract of plant tissue can be used. The water is then fractionated to obtain a fraction of enriched water with a relative content of at least one of the isotopes of oxygen or hydrogen greater than the relative content of the isotopes determined in the source water. Fractionation can be done by freezing or evaporation under vacuum. The obtained fractions of enriched water are passed through a molecular filter, including graphene, to remove contaminants, obtain pure water and separate water molecules containing different isotopic compositions of oxygen and hydrogen. Water can be further purified by activated carbon treatment or preparative chromatography.
EFFECT: increase in the amount of isotopically pure water while reducing energy consumption.
