FIELD: obtaining catalysts.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing a bimetallic catalyst for the liquid-phase oxidation of glucose to gluconic acid. The proposed method includes the impregnation of the carrier — gamma-aluminium oxide by the joint or sequential introduction of solutions of palladium acetylacetonate and bismuth acetate in acetic acid at a mass ratio of Bi:Pd equal to 1.9:1, respectively, removal of the solvent and three-stage sequential calcination in an argon atmosphere at a temperature 500°C and an oxygen atmosphere at a temperature of 350°C for 2 hours then in a hydrogen atmosphere at 500°C within 2 hours. At the same time, in the case of sequential introduction, the carrier is first impregnated with palladium acetylacetonate in acetic acid, followed by removal of the solvent, then impregnation is carried out with bismuth acetate in acetic acid according to the moisture capacity from the solution, and before calcination, low-temperature drying is carried out in a vacuum oven at a temperature of 80°C for 24 hours.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the efficiency of the bimetallic catalyst for the liquid-phase oxidation of glucose to gluconic acid.
