SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of novel catalytically active materials, particularly, materials containing catalytically active centers of various nature. Invention relates to a catalyst for liquid-phase conversion of bio-renewable raw material containing porous unsubstituted terephthalate of zirconium with structure UiO-66 as a carrier and silver-palladium nanoparticles with size less than 3 nm as an active component. Invention also relates to a method of producing a catalyst.

EFFECT: immobilization of bimetallic nanoparticles with size less than 3 nm in porous space of zirconium terephthalate with UiO-66 structure, prevention of formation of slightly soluble silver chloride at the stage of preparation by using metal nitrates as precursors; reduction of material and energy costs and as a result, material cost reduction.
