FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to a haemostatic tourniquet. Tourniquet includes a band, at the end of which there is a buckle with a stopper made with possibility to pass through the band fibres when the tourniquet is fixed on the extremity. Tourniquet has a flexible support platform containing loops fixed on their ends, through which the band is passed; one of the loops includes a fixing element for fixing the wrench. Band is made with possibility of sliding between loops and includes collar, in base of which there is a limiting washer. Wrench is passed through the collar, which on both sides of the collar contains unloading washers made with possibility of interaction with the limiting washer, as well as locking rings to prevent the wrench from falling out of the collar.

EFFECT: wider range of band tightening length with simultaneous ease of use and higher reliability of the device.
