FIELD: medicine; endocrinology; nephrology and therapy.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to predict the risk of a high rate of progression of chronic kidney disease. Such indicators as age, body mass index, duration of diabetes mellitus and insulin therapy, history of acute myocardial infarction, characteristics of popliteal artery pulsation, diagnosis of retinopathy, arterial hypertension risk group, use of sulfonylurea drugs and calcium antagonists are determined. The obtained indicators are assigned points and summarized. According to a given formula, the rate of decrease in glomerular filtration rate (IS_GFR) is determined. And with a score of more than 160 and an indicator of IS_GFR more than 4 ml/min/1.73 m2/year, the risk of a high rate of progression of chronic kidney disease is predicted.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to identify groups at high risk of progression of diabetic kidney damage and allows to prescribe nephroprotective therapy at the preclinical stage of development of chronic kidney disease by assessing the totality of the most significant indicators.
