FIELD: plastics.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method for producing thermoplastic biocompatible and biodegradable compositions based on chitosan and polyesters. The method includes the dissolution of chitosan and polyesters in a solvent, and in a 0.5 or 1, or 2, or 3, or 6 wt.% solution of salicylic acid in dimethyl sulfoxide, chitosan is dissolved in an amount of 1-10 wt.%, then polylactide or polylactide is added to the solution or polycaprolactone or a mixture of polylactide with polycaprolactone in a ratio of 1:1 in an amount of 1-10 wt.%, and, after complete dissolution of the polymers in dimethyl sulfoxide, the mixture is dried from the solvent.
EFFECT: simplification of the method for producing thermoplastic biocompatible and biodegradable compositions based on chitosan and polyesters, an increase in the strength properties of the compositions, such as breaking stress and deformation.
