FIELD: medicine; surgery and obstetrics.
SUBSTANCE: opening and drainage of hematoma, prevention of purulent-septic complications are performed. The opening of the hematoma is performed through a pararectal incision 2 cm lateral to the lower third of the labia majora from the side of the hematoma. A hematoma is drained through the incision. A Zhukovsky vaginal catheter is inserted into the vagina. After 24 hours, the catheter is removed from the vagina and drainage from the hematoma cavity. The hematoma cavity is washed with a 1% solution of dioxidine against the background of systemic antibiotic therapy for 5 days. Then, on the 6th and 7th day, ointment applications of the wound with Levomekol ointment are carried out.
EFFECT: method of treating paravaginal hematomas allows to reduce the amount of blood loss, reduce the level of posthemorrhagic anemia, reduce the percentage of purulent-septic complications, and the duration of inpatient treatment.
