FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ceramic-metal friction sintered materials. It can be used for the manufacture of parts for disc and shoe brakes of railway traction and rolling stock, for example, blocks for locomotives, freight and passenger cars, and electric trains. The ceramic-metal friction material comprises, wt.%: copper powder 20, copper concentrate 25, steel wool 20, graphite 2, the rest is iron ore concentrate.
EFFECT: increased friction heat resistance, thermal conductivity, strength and wear resistance.
