FIELD: powder metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ceramic-metal friction sintered materials. It can be used for the manufacture of parts for disc and shoe brakes of railway traction and rolling stock, for example, blocks for locomotives, freight and passenger cars, and electric trains. The ceramic-metal friction material comprises, wt.%: copper powder 15, copper concentrate 20, steel wool 10, graphite 1, the rest is iron ore concentrate.
EFFECT: increased friction heat resistance, thermal conductivity, strength and wear resistance.
