FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for producing 2-amino-4-aryl-6-hexyl-7-hydroxy-4H-chromene3-carbonitriles of general formula 1, which are intermediate products in the synthesis of various heterocyclic compounds and biologically active molecules. According to the proposed method, 4-hexylresorcinol is reacted with aromatic aldehydes ArCHO and malononitrile in toluene when boiling in the presence of catalytic amounts of morpholine. In these formulas, Ar is a substituted aromatic substituent.
EFFECT: proposed method allows to reduce the number of synthesis stages and increase the yield of target products.
