FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a highly efficient method for the preparation of 4-R-2-aminobuta-1,3-diene-1,1,3-tricarbonitriles of general formula 1, where the R substituent is an aliphatic, unsubstituted or substituted aromatic or heterocyclic substituent. Compounds of general formula 1 are important intermediates in the synthesis of biologically active molecules of various action spectra, as well as fluorescent dyes. The objective of the invention is to optimize the method for obtaining compounds of general formula 1 by increasing the yield of target compounds and reducing the number of stages for obtaining 4-R-2-aminobuta-1,3-diene-1,1,3-tricarbonitriles based on malononitrile.
EFFECT: this is achieved by introducing the potassium salt of the malononitrile dimer instead of the free malononitrile dimer into the reaction with aldehydes in an aqueous acetic acid medium without adding an additional catalyst.
