FIELD: construction materials.
SUBSTANCE: relates to the production of building heat-insulating materials of low density based on ash and slag waste. The raw mix for the preparation of a geopolymer material includes coal generation waste, sodium hydroxide, liquid glass, a pore-forming additive and a foam stabilizer. Ash and slag waste from Novocherkassk GRES with a fraction of 250 μm or less is used as coal generation waste, aluminum powder is used as a pore-forming additive, and an organic surfactant is used as a foam stabilizer, with the following ratio of components, wt.%: ash and slag waste 72-76, sodium hydroxide 2-4, liquid glass 18-23, aluminum powder 2-4, surfactant over 100% 1-4. Ash and slag waste from Novocherkassk GRES has the following chemical composition, wt.%: Na2O - 0.92; MgO - 2.08; Al2O3 - 18.78; SiO2 - 51.23; K2O - 3.04; CaO - 3.10; TiO2 - 0.78; MnO - 0.13; Fe2O3 - 10.27; P2O5 - 0.13; SO3 - 0.31; “ППП” - 9.23.
EFFECT: production of a geopolymer material with a density of not more than 575 kg/m3 and a compressive strength of at least 1.8 MPa.
