FIELD: adsorption technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for water treatment of process effluents from enterprises in the chemical and pharmaceutical industries. The method of purification of aqueous solutions from caprolactam is carried out by adsorption of active carbon. Pre-activated carbon is treated with a chemical reagent for 24 hours and heated for 2 hours at a temperature of 100°C in the air. As a chemical reagent for pre-treatment of activated carbon, a solution of ammonium acetate with a concentration of 1% is used at a ratio of the mass of coal in grams to the volume of solution in cm3 of 1:100.
EFFECT: increased sorption capacity of active carbons for caprolactam.
