FIELD: ship electric power systems.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for predictive control of ship electric power systems (SEPS). A method is proposed for preventive control of SEPS with parallel operating generator units (GU), while all GUs are divided into pairs and the absolute value of the difference in the loads of each pair is calculated and its increase is controlled, according to the method, the moment of transition of the SEPS to an inoperable state is determined. At the same time, the ship electric power system (SEPS) is recognized as inoperable if at least in one of the pairs of GUs one of the GUs increases its load, while the other reduces its load, and at the same time, the load difference exceeds the permissible value and increases. After that, the load of the SEPS is increased, it is determined by controlling the increase in the load of the GUs, the load of which decreases with an increase in the load of the SEPS, and this GU is turned off.
EFFECT: providing the possibility of preventive control of the SEPS in case of failures caused by an increase in the fuel supply to at least one of the parallel operating GUs.
