Disclosed is a device for preventive protection of a ship electric power system against overloads, which contains the following by the number of generator units (GU): GU load sensors, threshold units, the first NAND logic elements, AND logic elements, univibrators, as well as a load equality control unit and the second NAND logic element.

EFFECT: simplification of the device due to exclusion of the load distribution unit, which provides the possibility of automatic change of the dead zone of three-position regulators.
