SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to predict the development of occupational chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (OCOPD). The forecast is carried out for the next 3 years in relation to patients who do not have respiratory diseases, who have worked for 5 years or more under the influence of industrial aerosols containing unintentional silicon nanoparticles. In the peripheral blood of the patient, the proportion of the subpopulation of non-classical monocytes CD14DimCD16+ is determined relative to all monocytes. In blood serum, the concentrations of fibroblast growth factor-2 (FGF-2), soluble vascular adhesion molecule-1 (sVCAM-1), matrix metalloproteinase-9 (MMP-9) and N-terminal type 3 procollagen propeptide (PIIINP) are determined. The logistic regression equation is solved. If the value of the solution of the equation is 0.364 or more, a high risk of development of OCOPD in a patient in the next 3 years is predicted. When the value of the solution of the equation is less than 0.364, a low risk of development of OCOPD is predicted.
EFFECT: method makes it possible to predict the development of OCOPD within 3 years by determining in the blood of patients a complex of cellular and biochemical parameters associated with the risk of development of OCOPD under the influence of nanoparticles with silicon.
