FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to professional pathology and pulmonology, and can be used for diagnostics of professional chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, formed under conditions of action of toxic industrial aerosols. For this purpose in blood serum of COPD patient, exposed to toxic industrial aerosols with 1.5 time excess of MPC of toxic substances in working zone air, with length of working period under conditions of action of toxic industrial aerosols 17 years and more, concentration of interleukin 1β, transforming growth factor β, vascular endothelial growth factor is determined by method of solid-phase sandwich type enzyme immunoassay (ELISA) ELISA. After that, value of regression function is calculated by mathematical formula 0.027⋅IL1β+0.00009⋅TGFβ-0.0003⋅VEGF, where IL1β is concentration of interleukin 1β of serum, pg/ml, TGFβ is concentration of transforming growth factor β of serum, pg/ml, VEGF is concentration of vascular endothelial growth factor of serum, pg/ml, and if the result equals or exceeds 0.2, conclusion that in that case COPD formed under action of toxic industrial aerosols is made.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to diagnose cases of professional COPD, formed under action of toxic gas, which will improve quantity of treatment of said group of patients due to individualisation of therapeutic strategy taking into account phenotype characteristics, and also increases objectivity of expertise of connection of disease with profession.
