FIELD: medicine; oncology; thoracic surgery.

SUBSTANCE: bronchoplastic operation is performed with formation of an interbronchial anastomosis. After the formation of the anastomosis is completed, a free pericardial flap is cut out with a size of 60×30 mm. The pericardial defect is sutured with interrupted sutures. Before use, the pericardial flap is placed in a 2% glutaraldehyde solution for 5 minutes and then washed in sterile saline. Then the pericardial flap is fixed at the corners to the “Collost” plate prepared according to the instructions with four U-shaped sutures with a 3-0 prolene thread. The formed combined membrane is fixed with two interrupted sutures in the area of transition of the cartilaginous semirings and the membranous part of the bronchus. Then the combined membrane is wrapped around the area of the bronchial anastomosis and fixed "membrane-membrane" with three sutures with 3-0 Prolene thread. The operation is completed with drainage of the pleural cavity.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to provide airtight cover of interbronchial anastomosis after bronchoplastic surgery, improve reparative processes in the postoperative period, reduce the risk of bronchial fistula development.
