FIELD: mineralization of tap water.

SUBSTANCE: method of operating a water filter cartridge with a housing in form of a pressure vessel, a water inlet and an outlet is characterized in that the main flow of water, to which minerals are added, is passed inside the pressure vessel through the main pipeline, and the dosing stream of concentrated salt solution is supplied through the dosing pipeline, wherein the dosing pipeline branches off from the main pipeline and passes through a reserve tank of constant volume, in which there is a concentrated salt solution containing sulfate, chloride and/or hydrogen carbonate. The part of the dosing pipeline coming from the reserve tank communicates with the main flow at the dosing point through a dosing orifice with a constant flow cross section. By means of a resistance section in the main stream downstream of the dosing point, such resistance to the main stream is established that a pressure difference occurs between the main stream and the dosing stream, which causes a volume flow of the dosing stream of salt solution through the dosing hole communicating with the main stream, essentially proportional to the main stream.

EFFECT: long-term mineralization of a large volumetric flow of water with a uniform, stable degree of mineralization.
