SUBSTANCE: invention is related to a polymer tray for packaging goods, in particular an improved thermoformed solid polymer tray for packaging foodstuffs. According to the first embodiment, the polymer tray for packing goods includes a base; sealing surface for connection with a cover or film; side and end walls, continuing upward from the base to the sealing surface; vertical stiffeners located along the perimeter of the side and/or end walls, while the width of said stiffeners increases from the sealing surface to the base; longitudinal and transverse stiffeners formed on the base, and said stiffeners have a sinusoidal shape. According to the second embodiment, the polymer tray for packing goods includes a base; sealing surface for connection with a cover or film; side and end walls extending upward from the base to the sealing surface, the side and/or end walls being curved towards the inside of the tray; vertical stiffening ribs located along the perimeter of the side and/or end walls; longitudinal and transverse stiffeners formed on the base, and said stiffeners have a sinusoidal shape.

EFFECT: providing an increase in resistance to deformation of the tray with a decrease in its mass.
